“Before You Jump” — A Lesson That Made Millions

Before my friend Brian built his multimillion-dollar empire, he started simple: a butcher shop.

Years later, his son saw a butcher shop for sale. Looked like a great opportunity. He asked his dad if he should buy it.

But his mom gave the million-dollar advice:

“Why don’t you go work there first and see if you actually like it?”

So he did.

Three months in, they asked him: “Well? What do you think?”

His response? “I love it.”

Result his dad immediately bought the butcher shop.

Today, that “try it before you buy it” butcher shop is a multimillion-dollar business being run by his son.

The Lesson?

Just because something looks good doesn’t mean you’re ready to bet your future on it.

That’s not fear talking—it’s wisdom.

In the meat world they say:

“If you really like sausage, stay out of the meat plant, because once you see how the sausage is made you may never want to eat any again.”

Don’t get blinded by the sizzle until you’ve had a chance to look behind the scenes and see what’s really there.

ACTION STEP:

Before you jump into your next “big opportunity,” go get your hands dirty.

Test it. Try it. Taste it.

If it’s right for you, you’ll know.

And when the hard days come (and they will), you’ll have the fuel to fight through.

Don’t guess. Know.

That’s how winners win.
